Softball Minors Information

Minors Girls Softball is the second softball league after Intermediate. Players in the Minor League are girls in 2nd and 3rd grades.  The format is player pitch with no walks. Coach pitch comes into play on ball four or after a 3-0 count.  An 11" RIF ball (reduced injury factor) is used. Teams are selected by a draft.

Approximately 12 games are played, plus double-elimination playoffs. Games will be played Monday thru Saturday at Brooks Park, Indian Road Park or Harrer Park in Morton Grove. The season starts the last week of April and concludes with the Championship Game played during the ESAA picnic at Edgebrook Park in July.
