Majors Softball Information

Girls play Major League Girls Softball in the 5th and 6th grade. This is a big step forward for the girls as the ball is now a 12"hard ball, the pitching rubber is 40 feet from home plate, bunting is allowed and so is base stealing. Players are seeded/ranked by their previous year's coach and then selected in a draft based on the evaluations. Most games are played at Edgebrook Park - Field #4, located in the NE corner of the park.

All teams play about 14 regular season games, with a double elimination playoff starting in the last week of June.

The Championship will be held at Wildwood Park in July.
